The company added discussions are being had with prospective buyers for the remainder of the capacity.Ĭonstruction of the project is expected to start this year. Venture Global said more than a third of the facility’s 20 million tpa has been sold, bringing significant commercial momentum for the project. Venture Global has agreed to sell 1 million tonnes per annum of liquefied natural gas from its CP2 LNG facility in the US to JERA of Japan via a 20-year sales and purchase agreement.
